Tiziano Sclavi - Black

hard to find words to describe this novel by Tiziano Sclavi: Black, with the point.
Dark, noir, thriller, until unbelievably surreal. The characters follow each other so marked, cold, detached, as if you were watching them live, by a film. The sentences are essential and no word is too often. The operations are continuing between the flash back flash forward and that jaw-dropping.
too open for me. Tiziano Sclavi is a single author, I was completely conquered and a small review of a few words can really express my admiration for its depth. Heavily influenced by Edgar Allan Poe and its growth, Titian is best expressed in the character of Zardo, a cowardly man who wants to prove himself to be the wrist, but that is hopelessly overwhelmed by events, which inexorably crushing. But who is Zardo?

A man who changes identity and lost a thousand times the boundaries of himself, dragging behind his shadow and that of Francesca, a woman with whom he never ends and that does not love him, but Zardo, the real Zardo, loves her? Scenes and characters that are repeated without a face, a corpse in a suitcase that comes alive in the faces as diverse a cross-section set in a surreal scene of the film so realistic that you'll hardly believe it. In short, a dark but brilliant plot.
The book is beautiful and sweeping almost to the end. I have to say it with heart and hand, the final chapters I was disappointed. A slight descent that surprised me a lot in recent events, totally unexpected, but perhaps reveal fully the nature of Zardo and men like him. But then, what man are we talking about? Again, one wonders, who is Zardo?

The book presents the first novel in the end-story Sclavi: Film . A young book, written just 19 years Anteater edition of 1974. The author chooses not to change anything and publish it as it was written when he was a boy with little experience, although Premio Scanno .
I was not excited, it's inexperienced but we understand there is a special talent and almost macabre in the events of that movie ... can lead to deepen the author, if you love the very dark noir.
not be underestimated, therefore, to try to understand an author depressed and difficult, mysterious and hermetic but leaves in its wake an unequivocal sign of the invoice.
